Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an appointment?

Appointments are required at our physical location; walk-ins are welcome at our mobile unit.

Is there a charge for any of your services?

Our pregnancy tests and ultrasound services are provided at no charge; if you are pregnant, STI testing is also free of charge.  Otherwise, STI testing has a discounted charge, communicated to you when you make your appointment. Pregnant families can actually “earn” baby bucks through our Earn-While-You-Learn program, with which you can purchase much needed baby supplies.

What will I need to bring with me when I come in?

Bring a photo ID and cash to cover your non-pregnancy STI testing. (The amount needed is communicated when you make your appointment.)

How long does an appointment take?

Please allow 60 minutes for your appointment (though it may be shorter based on your requested service.)

Can I bring someone with me to my appointment?

You are more than welcome to bring family/friends for support; they can be included in parts of your appointment (including your  ultrasound). However, due to our strict confidentiality policy, there will be times that we may need to speak to you privately.  Though it is optimal to make childcare arrangements for your appointment, children are welcome to sit with a responsible person in our waiting area during your visit.

Will I be shown any graphic images or be “preached to” if I am interested in abortion?

No!! Our goal is to provide you with information on all your options so that you can make the best decision for you. We do not refer for or perform abortions, but we do provide a comfortable, non-judgmental environment for you to learn about and discuss your options. We care about you and your health. We want you to have the control, independence and empowerment to be able to choose with confidence. We are a Christian organization, but engaging in a spiritual discussion is up to you.

What should I expect when I come in for my initial visit?

Our patient advocates will review paperwork with you and a pregnancy test will be administered. If your test is positive, we will schedule an ultrasound to confirm a viable, uterine pregnancy.

What if my boyfriend or parent calls to see if I came in?

We have a strict privacy and confidentiality policy, and will not give out any of your information or contact you without your consent.
